Introduction
Basic Fantasy RPG has a plethora of available player races in both the base book and its supplements. These are my contributions to the cause, made or modified for the specific campaign I’m running. They’re fairly well-balanced, and should work in a conventional Basic Fantasy RPG game with little or no difficulty.
As with the supplements presented on the Basic Fantasy RPG site, these are available here in three formats, pdf, docx, and odt, so that they can be used by anyone. WARNING: I make these on Google Docs, and the only format I can be 100% certain of for layout is the pdf one. The other two are rolling the dice and may not appear “right” after download.
PR01: Light Elf
In the Dawn Wars, the ancestors of these elves allied themselves to the cause of Chaos, picking self determination over the regimentation of Order. They travel widely, often integrating into cultures they like or find interesting. At times, they still come into conflict at times with their kin, the Dark Elves.
PR02: Dark Elf
During the darkest time of the Dawn Wars, the forerunners of these elves allied themselves with Order over the screaming nightmare of Chaos. Building their own cities and empires, they act on equal terms with the world around them, eschewing the flightiness of their kin, the Light Elves.
